Biography: I am Todd Chafe, a visual artist in multimedia focusing on fine art. I was born in Petty Harbour, NL, and now reside in Holyrood, NL.
When I first began to learn Art, being a good drawer and understanding drawing were the most important things to me. As I progressed in learning Art, other aspects became important, such as composition, light, color, and message, to name a few.
These aspects are now secondary to me. As I continued to work and study, I began to see that what inspired me did not come from me, but to me. This source evokes a sense of feeling, emotion, and energy. You can call it God, the Universe, or the Source. Whatever you feel comfortable with.
Learning to allow this to come through me is the basis of my Art.
